Virtual Petindex is a new type of trade show aimed at all pet businesses within the UK pet market, as well as those overseas. It is organised by the Pet Industry Federation, the UK trade association for pet businesses.

Taking place on 14 & 15 June 2020, Virtual Petindex will provide a unique platform for exhibitors and visitors to connect, market themselves to new and existing audiences, learn about new products and encounter educational opportunities. All in a safe, remote and cost-effective environment.

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, physical trade shows both in the UK and overseas have been cancelled. There is therefore a real need for something to take their place in order for pet businesses to continue to operate and to thrive both during and after this pandemic.

Virtual Petindex is a live event taking place on the 14 & 15 June 2020. Registered visitors will also be able to access the exhibition hall and full seminar content on demand for 30 days after the event.
Much like a live exhibition, Virtual Petindex is designed to allow show visitors to learn about the latest developments within the pet industry and to talk to potential suppliers and customers. Having registered for the show, you will have the freedom to attend webinars, navigate the exhibition hall and visit all the exhibition stands. You can browse the show floor using the interactive floorplan or by using the exhibitor search tool.
Yes, you will need to register for this online event. Simply follow the link at the top of the page and submit your information. Then you will receive an email confirming your registration for the event.
Virtual Petindex is an end-to-end web platform built to engage pet industry professionals from all over the world in one virtual venue. The platform enables exhibitors to interact with trade visitors through live interaction tools.

Virtual Petindex will feature a lobby, exhibition hall, auditorium, networking area and many other interactive features. The whole platform is intuitive to use, meaning trade visitors and industry professionals will find it easy to find their way around and start interacting. Plus, the whole platform works without any downloads or plug-ins and will display on any device (mobile, tablet or desktop).
No. Some exhibitors may have the ability to request a video chat, but a webcam is not required to participate.
Your login details will be emailed to you ahead of the event. You can use these details to access the online event.
Virtual Petindex is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate anywhere that you have internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
If you operate as a pet business, you should register for Virtual Petindex. This event is geared towards helping pet businesses succeed. You can attend as a retailer and find new and exciting products, as well as learn from the various webinar streams happening on both days; or you could attend as a dog walker who could recommend products to their clients in the future; or you could attend as a dog groomer who can both use and sell products to their clients; or as a kennel or cattery that is looking for supply and new products that will fit in with the new legislation on enrichment toys. There really will be something for all pet businesses.

All webinar content and access to the exhibitor stands will be available on demand for 30 days after the event. You just will not be able to join in on any live Q&A but will still be able to view the content.
